Chick Peas are delicious in salads and soup and can be pureed for dips and houmous. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Soak chick peas in water for 12 hours or overnight, then rinse thoroughly and drain. Cover with fresh water and boil rapidly for 15 mins, removing any foam with a spoon. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 50 mins or until tender. Never cook beans in a slow cooker unless pre-soaked for 12 hours and then boiled rapidly for 15 mins. Do not eat raw! BEST BEFORE END: see front of pack. STORAGE: Once opened, store in an airtight container, in a cool, dray place. Use within 6 months of opening. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Great Britain.
